Project Architect / Senior Architectural Associate

Are you a Licensed Architect or Architectural Associate with 4+ years of post graduate experience in the industry looking for a hands-on, collaborative work environment?

What will you be doing here?

Designing daily: Whether working on a site plan for an urban infill project, developing a floor plan directly with a business owner, or collaborating with your team on a building envelope detail, you will be exercising and growing your design abilities every day.

 

Collaborating: Our project teams are varied to meet the needs of the individual project, so you will always be working with different team members in our office, reciprocating knowledge and tapping into their specific abilities and expertise. You will also be directly working with our clients, consulting engineers, building departments, and contractors through all phases of our projects.

 

Expanding your Experience: We strive to provide a dynamic work environment that allows you to work on projects of all different programs and sizes, expanding your professional experience and personal growth. We do not put our team members in a position where they repeat the same task over and over. Share your professional goals with us and we will work with you to give you the experience to achieve them.

 

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Architecture with 4+ years of post graduate experience.
  • Experience with taking a project through every step of the design and construction process.
  • Personality that excels in a collaborative environment, working directly with other designers, owners, engineers, consultants, building departments, and contractors.
  • Desire to expand your personal knowledge, and share that knowledge with other team members in a mentorship role.
  • Proficiency in Revit, with ability to utilize AutoCAD and other industry standard software.
  • Architectural License is valued but not required. We actively work with our non-licensed employees to pursue licensure and other desired certifications.

What do we need from you?

  • A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with either an NCIDQ certification or a desire to achieve that certification
  • A designer with quality design skills, including space planning, color, material, and FF&E selection, rendering, coordinating programming surveys, together with the technical knowledge to translate design intent into accurate contract documents
  • Strong communication skills in order to successfully manage multiple interior projects from conception to close-out
  • A personality that obtains and retains the respect of colleagues and clients
  • A skilled software operator proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and familiar with Sketch-Up and/or other 3D modeling programs, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • A recent graduate with a Masters of Architecture degree actively pursuing licensure as a registered architect
  • A designer with a passion for high design and the desire to learn the technical knowledge required to translate the design intent into accurate contract documents
  • A manager to be in charge of all aspects of a project from conception to close-out
  • A personality that interacts well with other team members, including clients
  • An individual who is motivated, eager to learn and open to learn from other design professionals
